The knee pad is filled with a gel substance which moulds itself around the knee joint to form a protective cushion. The outer surface is a hard plastic knee cap which protects against small sharp objects under the knee pad. Fastened in place with strong velcro straps these gel filled knee pads are an important part of any carpet and floor fitters tool box.
