Matwell Angle.This section is the one which is most commonly used by carpet fitters and RWS alloys to manufacture matwell frames. A frame designed to edge carpet or vinyl around a hole or well in the floor, generally found in older property. Having these helps protect the customer's carpet, but also should be viewed as an additional sale possability. Carpet fitters who sell these frames gain on average an extra £40 per job for what amounts to fitting 10 screws! Carpet fitters who suggest filling in these holes lose out, yet will end up filling the hole for nothing.
