Carpet to Laminate Section, The section often referred to as Z section or sometimes compressable nap lock, due to its ability to be raised or forced down slightly. This section is used by carpet fitters where carpet and laminate flooring meet. Due to the great variations in depth of laminate flooring this plate was made with a degree of movement to allow carpet fitters to finish neatly up to the flooring. When carpet fitters are faced with very high laminate they can fit a piece of packing under the carpet plate to help with the difference in height. As with all plates with teeth, a knee kicker is required. (see RWS036 & RWS036A) Available in 2438mm length
